Technologies and measures that reduce the amount of electricity and/or fuel required to do the same activity, such as powering homes, offices and industries (e.g. Rock mineral wool insulation, urethene boards, heat reclaim coils, in ventilation plants, passive infrared lighting systems, chilled beams and energy efficient lamps).
